Verrucous carcinoma of the penis or Buschke-Löwenstein tumour.

Verrucous carcinoma of the penis or 'Buschke-Löwenstein' tumour is a rare lesion. The condition may be mistaken for condyloma acuminatum or epidermoid carcinoma of the penis which carries a worse prognosis. The verrucous carcinoma once completely excised rarely recurs. All reports of recurrence were thought to be due to inadequate excision. Three cases of this tumour have presented to our department within the last 9 months and their presentation and clinical management will be outlined in this paper.
