Analysis of the regularity of seasonal changes in physiological age of adult ticks of I. persulcatus has shown that this regularity is described quite satisfactorily by the asymptotic function, by means of which age can be estimated during season for any time. Changes in the age composition of active ticks are associated with the seasonal fluctuations in their abundance. Due to this connection fluctuations in the seasonal abundance of active individuals can be foreseen and evaluated retrospectively by their age composition and conversely age by seasonal fluctuations in ticks' abundance.
对全沟硬蜱成年蜱生理年龄季节性变化规律的分析表明，这种规律可以用渐近函数相当令人满意地描述，借助该函数可以在季节内的任何时间估计年龄。活跃蜱的年龄组成变化与它们数量的季节性波动有关。由于这种联系，可以通过活跃个体的年龄组成回顾性地预测和评估其季节性数量的波动，反之亦然，可以通过蜱数量的季节性波动来推断年龄。
