[Old and new in diagnostic radiology (author's transl)].

Recent advances in diagnostic radiology are reviewed. Reference is also made to the question of keeping down the extent of exposure of the patient. Emphasis is placed on the need for continuous instruction of radiologists on account of the rapid updating of techniques and the state of the art.
