Even though there are a couple of therapeutic concepts for the metastatic malignant melanoma and new protocols are being designed there is no cure for this tumor in the advanced stage. By carefully analyzing the results surgical therapy, radiation and chemotherapy can be named as the standard therapies. But different protocols of combined chemo- and immunotherapy, adjuvant therapies e.g. with tumor vaccines are being tried out. Experimental approaches are photodynamic therapy, the application of monoclonal antibodies and gene therapy.
尽管针对转移性恶性黑色素瘤有一些治疗理念，并且新的方案也在不断设计中，但晚期这种肿瘤仍无法治愈。通过仔细分析结果，手术治疗、放疗和化疗可被视为标准疗法。不过，不同的化疗与免疫疗法联合方案、辅助疗法（如使用肿瘤疫苗）正在进行试验。实验性方法包括光动力疗法、单克隆抗体的应用和基因疗法。
