Chronic hepatitis B and chronic hepatitis C centering on immunohistochemical studies of the liver were investigated as possible mechanisms of the chronicity of viral hepatitis. Although liver cell injury was presumed to be caused by CTL in both chronic hepatitis B and C, other mechanisms of cell injury were also presumed with chronic hepatitis, type C, including autoimmune mechanisms.
以肝脏免疫组织化学研究为核心，对慢性乙型肝炎和慢性丙型肝炎作为病毒性肝炎慢性化的可能机制进行了研究。尽管在慢性乙型肝炎和丙型肝炎中，肝细胞损伤都被认为是由细胞毒性T淋巴细胞（CTL）引起的，但在丙型肝炎中还推测存在其他细胞损伤机制，包括自身免疫机制。
