PURPOSE
We studied a case of Aspergillus endophthalmitis after sutureless cataract surgery.
METHODS
A patient underwent sutureless phacoemulsification complicated by a posterior capsular tear. She subsequently developed Aspergillus endophthalmitis. Amphotericin B was injected intravitreally at the time of repeat pars plana vitrectomy.
RESULTS
The eye was enucleated because of pain and poor response to treatment.
CONCLUSIONS
We recommend suturing the wound in any eye that has experienced a complication of surgery.
目的
我们研究了一例无缝线白内障手术后发生曲霉菌性眼内炎的病例。
方法
一名患者接受了无缝线超声乳化白内障吸除术，术中并发后囊膜破裂。随后她发生了曲霉菌性眼内炎。在重复进行玻璃体切割术时，向玻璃体内注射了两性霉素B。
