In medicine and law the ethical values confront one another: "death with dignity" ("allowing to die") versus the "right to life" ("preservation of life"). An individual's right to self-determination conflicts with the physician's obligation to preserve life. The problematic is discussed from the standpoints of both medicine and law, and current developments in the medical profession and legal practice are presented.
在医学和法律领域，道德价值观相互冲突：“有尊严地死亡”（“听任死亡”）与“生命权”（“维持生命”）。个人的自决权与医生维持生命的义务相冲突。本文从医学和法律两个角度探讨了这一问题，并介绍了医学专业和法律实践的当前发展情况。
