Methanol ingestion. 'Guaranteed to make you feel good'.

Three patients who presented to an urban general emergency department in Baton Rouge, Louisiana within a 4-hour period are described. These patients demonstrate the various presentations and severity of methanol poisoning from a single source of exposure. Rapid therapy is required, often after presumptive diagnosis, in order to prevent significant morbidity or death.
