The principles of autonomy and beneficence are explored in light of a client situation.

PURPOSE

To equip psychiatric nurses with the knowledge needed to make ethical decisions.

CONCLUSION

Greater emphasis must be placed on ethical principles that guide the practice of psychiatric nursing.
