[Follow-up results of the treatment of patients with esophageal cancer].

From 1966 till 1983 more than 500 patients with esophageal cancer were treated in the Buryat republican oncologic dispensary. After operation 19 patients survived more than 10 years. In majority of them the tumor on early stage with sclerosing and exophyte growth form, squamous keratotic cancer. In the surgical treatment of esophageal cancer the best results were noted.
