Porphyria cutanea tarda (PCT) and similar vesiculobullous disorders have been described to develop frequently in patients with chronic renal failure during long-term hemodialysis. 9 cases of PCT in hemodialyzed patients and 1 case of PCT in continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis have been reported in Japan. Since these patients were often anuria, porphyrin analyzed in plasma, feces, and dialysate. Uroporphyrins, coproporphyrins and heptacarboxyric porphyrins in feces, and total porphyrins in plasma increased. The iron overload, aluminum hydroxide, plasticizers exuded from the tubing or other apparatus and some drug administered during dialysis are considered as triggering factors. Hemodialysis employed high-performance-membrane, hemodiafiltration, plasma exchange, were reported as successful treatment.
迟发性皮肤卟啉病（PCT）及类似的水疱大疱性疾病常在慢性肾衰竭患者长期血液透析过程中频繁出现。日本已报道9例血液透析患者患PCT，1例持续性非卧床腹膜透析患者患PCT。由于这些患者常无尿，故对血浆、粪便和透析液进行卟啉分析。粪便中的尿卟啉、粪卟啉和七羧基卟啉以及血浆中的总卟啉增加。铁过载、氢氧化铝、从管路或其他器械中渗出的增塑剂以及透析期间使用的某些药物被认为是触发因素。采用高性能膜血液透析、血液透析滤过、血浆置换被报道为成功的治疗方法。
