About delusions in old people: a contribution to anthropological understanding A review of the literature demonstrates that there are a number of different definitions of "delusions". There are examples of different ways in which delusions develop. The anthropological perspective ist extensively commented upon. The main purpose of this paper is to create an understanding of delusions from the point of view of Anthropology and thereby to demonstrate how such understanding can help in dealing with old people who suffer from delusions.
