In eighty patients with glioblastomas surgically treated, there were nine patients (11%) survived for more than three years, and one of the 9 patients survived for six years. The contributing factors responsible for the longteun survival are: (a) extensive removal of the tumor; (b) radioterapy by linear accelarator (40-60Gy) after surgery; (c) post operative chemotherapy with BCNU.
在接受手术治疗的80例胶质母细胞瘤患者中,有9例(11%)存活超过3年,其中1例存活6年。导致长期存活的因素有:(a)肿瘤广泛切除;(b)术后用直线加速器进行放射治疗(40 - 60Gy);(c)术后用卡氮芥进行化疗。
