Extensive combined resections were made on 190 of 705 patients operated upon for lung cancer. The results have shown a prognostic value of the factor of variability of resections for immediate results. Long-term results were better in patients with highly differentiated cancers and without a metastatic involvement of the regional lymphatic system. Favourable results with 5-year survival (20.2%) point to the expedience of the extensive combined resections in patients with the long-neglected stages of lung cancer.
在705例接受肺癌手术的患者中，对190例进行了广泛的联合切除术。结果表明，切除术的可变性因素对近期疗效具有预后价值。高分化癌且区域淋巴系统无转移累及的患者长期疗效更佳。5年生存率为20.2%的良好结果表明，对于长期被忽视的肺癌阶段患者，进行广泛联合切除术是适宜的。
