Abstract
During this time of skill-mix changes, restructuring of health care, and successful retention of Registered Nurses, most of the open positions in nursing are for nursing assistants. This author, an experienced clinical coordinator, describes how she adapts interviewing techniques to assist in selecting the best nursing assistant candidate.
