A 11-year-old mentally ill male who had swallowed a metal necklace that has been lodged on the cecal appendix is presented. Because of the relatively high risk of an acute appendicitis a prophylactic appendicectomy was performed.
一名11岁患有精神疾病的男性患者，吞食了一条卡在盲肠阑尾处的金属项链，现予以报道。由于急性阑尾炎风险相对较高，遂进行了预防性阑尾切除术。
