The purpose of this case report is to describe the possible initial presentation of sarcoidosis as generalized prolonged pruritus.
In a patient presenting with prolonged generalized pruritus who also had selective elevation of IgA, the diagnosis of sarcoidosis was confirmed by bilateral interstitial infiltrates on chest radiograph, elevated angiotensin-converting enzyme, and dermal granuloma on skin biopsy from a recent rash.
Sarcoidosis should be added to the list of diseases associated with prolonged pruritus and routine chest radiographs should be obtained in these patients.
本病例报告的目的是描述结节病可能的初始表现为全身性长期瘙痒。
对于一名出现全身性长期瘙痒且IgA选择性升高的患者，通过胸部X线片显示双侧间质性浸润、血管紧张素转换酶升高以及近期皮疹皮肤活检发现皮肤肉芽肿，确诊为结节病。
结节病应被列入与长期瘙痒相关的疾病清单中，对于这些患者应进行常规胸部X线检查。
