[Myxoid myomas of the uterus].

Two cases of myxoid smooth muscle tumours of the uterus have been reported. Clinical and morphological characteristics are briefly described. Inspite of the lack of cellular and nuclear atypia and mitotic figures below 2 in 10 high power fields, the clinical course was very malignant. A review of the literature on this new entity from the last 10-12 years has been made.
