Anti-smoking counseling by physicians has demonstrated to be the treatment modality of smokers with the best cost-benefit ratio. The basic stages of physician intervention are summarized in the four "A's" of clinical activities: ask, advise, assist, arrange. The systematic use of this methodology by the health teams could achieve 80000 ex-smokers per year in our country.
医生进行的戒烟咨询已被证明是对吸烟者而言成本效益比最佳的治疗方式。医生干预的基本阶段总结在临床活动的四个“A”中：询问、建议、协助、安排。卫生团队系统地使用这种方法，在我国每年可使8万名吸烟者戒烟。
