This article is a brief synopsis of some rare benign conditions of the breast. These conditions include Mondor's disease, macrocysts, trauma to the breast, squamous cell metaplasia, and miscellaneous disorders of the nipple. Having some knowledge of these conditions will facilitate prompt therapy and avoid misdiagnosing malignant breast conditions.
