Congenital cataracts in 41 eyes were extracted with primary implantation of posterior chamber IOLs, of which 35 were the one-piece PMMA variety. The patients were followed up 3-28 months, averaging 9.5 months. Corrected visual acuities of 1.0-1.5 were achieved in 29.3% and 0.5 or better in 85.4% of the eyes. Postoperative complications were few. Among 34 eyes of preoperative low vision, visual acuities of 0.3 or over were restored to 31 eyes (91.2%) immediately after the operation.
对41只眼睛的先天性白内障进行了摘除，并一期植入后房型人工晶状体，其中35只是单片式聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯（PMMA）人工晶状体。对患者进行了3至28个月的随访，平均随访时间为9.5个月。29.3%的眼睛矫正视力达到1.0至1.5，85.4%的眼睛矫正视力达到0.5或更好。术后并发症较少。在术前视力低下的34只眼中，术后立即有31只眼（91.2%）恢复到0.3或以上的视力。
