Oral test of magnesium tolerance.

Author presents original methodics of oral Mg deficiency testing, suitable for the detection of Mg deficiency, namely the latent states which could not have been easily evidenced till now. The test follows the retention of per os applied preparation of Mg on the basis of its discharge in urine. The realization of the oral Mg tolerance test is neither complicated nor embarrassing for the patient, it is thus applicable even in the out-patient practice.
