[Enteropathogenic E. coli strains isolated in our laboratory within the last 8 months].

63 E. coli strains were isolated and typed seriologically from feces samples sent to our laboratory from infants suffering from diarrhea in March-October 1975. 5 out of these strains were typed as 0111 : B4, one as 055 : B5 and another one as 0125 : B15, which are generally regarded as enteropathogenic E. coli. Also sensitivity test were carried out and many of these strains were found to be multiple antibiotic resistant.
