Adenosine deaminase (ADA) activity and isozyme were studied on 78 patients with pleural fluid. ADA activity in pleural fluid was higher in 49 cases of tuberculosis than those in 29 cases of non-tuberculosis (P < 0.01). The ratio of pleural fluid to serum for ADA was greater than 1 in tuberculous pts, whereas less than 1 in non-tuberculosis pts (P < 0.01). ADA isozyme III was higher in tuberculosis than those in non-tuberculosis pts (P < 0.01). It was suggested that these indexes may be useful in differentiating tuberculous pleurisy from non-tuberculous pleurisy.
对78例胸腔积液患者的腺苷脱氨酶(ADA)活性及同工酶进行了研究。49例结核性胸腔积液患者的胸腔积液ADA活性高于29例非结核性胸腔积液患者(P<0.01)。结核患者胸腔积液与血清ADA比值大于1,而非结核患者小于1(P<0.01)。结核患者的ADA同工酶III高于非结核患者(P<0.01)。提示这些指标可能有助于鉴别结核性胸膜炎与非结核性胸膜炎。
