Abstract
A comparative trial was performed on 56 glaucomatous eyes - piladren gave usually a better pressure-reducing effect than pilocarpine alone or pilocarpine and epinephrine/adrenaline from separate bottles. The main possibilites of medical glaucoma therapy are mentioned and subjective and objective advantages and disadvantages are communicated.
