Functional evaluation of the artificial bladder including uroflowmetry, cystometry, determination of spontaneous uresis regimens, measurement of mean bladder capacity was performed in 75 bladder cancer patients following cystectomy and ileocystoplasty. It was found that the patients had satisfactory urinary accumulation, retention and evacuation this securing for them an adequate quality of life.
