The results of a survey done during the period 1988-1993, regarding the cases of ocular lesions due to vegetal foreign bodies, are presented in 51.1% of the 156 cases involved patients over 50-years-old, especially from country-side, originating in accidents during agricultural labour (79.2%). The main clinical forms of the ocular lesions as well as the nature of the vegetal foreign bodies are described. Some rare clinical aspects, involving toxic-allergic mechanisms of the ocular lesions are also mentioned. Three observations of corneal ulcerations due to vegetal foreign bodies are presented, the therapeutical methods and the evolution of visual acuity during hospitalization are also described.
本文呈现了1988年至1993年期间针对植物性异物导致眼部损伤病例的一项调查结果。在156例病例中，51.1%的患者年龄超过50岁，主要来自农村，损伤源于农业劳动事故（79.2%）。文中描述了眼部损伤的主要临床症状以及植物性异物的性质。还提及了一些罕见的临床情况，涉及眼部损伤的毒性 - 过敏机制。文中给出了3例因植物性异物导致角膜溃疡的病例，同时描述了治疗方法以及住院期间视力的变化情况。
