Two different standard incisions were used to compare the healing of wounds closed with normal "atraumatic" surgical technique and with a tissue adhesive. Healing was recorded by serial photography. It was found that wounds, which were not under tension postoperatively, the resulting scar was cosmetically better when tissue adhesive was used compared with conventional methods of suture.
采用两种不同的标准切口来比较用常规“无创”手术技术缝合的伤口和用组织粘合剂封闭的伤口的愈合情况。通过连续摄影记录愈合情况。结果发现，对于术后无张力的伤口，与传统缝合方法相比，使用组织粘合剂时形成的疤痕在外观上更好。
