The diagnosis of sarcoidosis is made on both the clinicoradiological presentation and characteristic pathologic features. The pathologic proof is necessary for diagnosis, and is obtained by biopsies as little aggressive as possible, directed by the clinicoradiologic manifestations of the disease, which are often thoracic, bronchial, pulmonary or ganglionnary.
