Since their arrival in Britain most Vietnamese mothers have abandoned traditional infant feeding practices for 'modern' methods which are unsatisfactory and expensive. Health staff are not perceived as a source of information or support. This paper emphasizes the need for culturally sensitive initiatives to reverse this trend.
自从来到英国,大多数越南母亲都抛弃了传统的婴儿喂养方式,转而采用不尽如人意且昂贵的“现代”方法。卫生工作人员并未被视为信息或支持的来源。本文强调需要采取具有文化敏感性的举措来扭转这一趋势。
