It was found that 229 out of 230 strains of pseudotuberculosis microbes tested were sensitive to aminoglycosides, such as streptomycin, monomycin, neomycin, kanamycin and gentamicin. The MIC did not exceed 50 gamma/ml. One strain of J. pseudotuberculosis was multiresistant to streptomycin, tetracycline, levomycetin and penicillin. The above aminoglycosides (streptomycin, monomycin, kanamycin and gentamicin) were active in the treatment of albino mice with experimental pseudotuberculosis.
