A case report of an ameloblastoma in the mandibula is given. The characteristics of this neoplasm are discussed. The tumor is histologically benign but clinically malignant. The therapy of choice is therefore radical surgery, preferably resection with primary reconstruction in one stage. Eight years after the operation in this case no signs of recurrence were found.
本文报告一例下颌骨成釉细胞瘤病例。讨论了该肿瘤的特征。该肿瘤组织学上为良性，但临床上具有恶性特征。因此，首选的治疗方法是根治性手术，最好是一期切除并进行即刻重建。该病例术后八年未发现复发迹象。
