The paper presents the contemporary conceptions of stress. Psychosomatic diseases have the composite etiology being made up of biologic and psychosocial factors, for instance stress. The contemporary medicine does not fully appreciate the important role of the psychosocial factors in the etiology of diseases. More and more physicians understand, the traditional, biologic model of the treatment of disorders as myocardial infarction, morbus uicerosus or tumoursis uneffective.
本文介绍了当代对压力的概念。心身疾病具有由生物和心理社会因素组成的复合病因，例如压力。当代医学并未充分认识到心理社会因素在疾病病因学中的重要作用。越来越多的医生认识到，传统的、针对心肌梗死、溃疡病或肿瘤等疾病的生物治疗模式是无效的。
