Examinations were performed in 173 strains of Staphylococcus aureus isolated from milk and dairy products. Of this number, 143 strains were resistant and 30 sensitive to penicillin. All the resistant strains produced penicillinase. Penicillinase production was demonstrated also in vivo by a test on white mice.
对从牛奶和奶制品中分离出的173株金黄色葡萄球菌进行了检测。其中，143株对青霉素耐药，30株对青霉素敏感。所有耐药菌株均产生青霉素酶。通过对白鼠的试验也在体内证实了青霉素酶的产生。
