Abstract
This article presents a new stapler characterised by a flexible arm and interchangeable cartridges. The stapler's flexibility and availability in different lengths up to 60 cm permits the placing of sutures even at significant distances from the point of entry; furthermore it is possible to perform more sutures on the same patient by replacing the cartridges. The author discusses the technical features of the instrument in detail.
