[The experimental study of the double intra aortic balloon (DIAB) pumping].

In vitro and animal experiments showed that the double intra aortic balloon (DIAB) pumping can provide 30% greater blood flow to the coronary arteries than does a single intra aortic balloon (SIAB) pumping of the same volume during counterpulsation. It significantly improves the hemodynamic parameters so as to raise the efficiency of the counterpulsation. The results are consistent with computer studies.
