The authors report the case of a patient with bilateral corneal lesions due to air bag inflation after a motor vehicle accident. The drivers air bag had inflated normally during the collision. Four similar cases, one with bursting of the bag, have been reported in the literature. Further improvement of this device should take this potential risk for the eyes into account.
作者报告了一例机动车事故后因安全气囊充气导致双侧角膜损伤的患者病例。驾驶位安全气囊在碰撞时正常充气。文献中已报道了另外4例类似病例，其中1例气囊破裂。该装置的进一步改进应考虑到对眼睛的这种潜在风险。
