Abstract
A rat cDNA encoding the Bcl-2 protein was cloned and sequenced. The primary amino-acid sequence deduced from the nucleotide sequence reveals a 236-aa protein having extensive homology with the mouse (95%), human (87%) and chicken (71%) Bcl-2 proteins.
