Nursing quality management in The Netherlands.

Since 1979 the National Organization for Quality Assurance in Health Care (CBO) in the Netherlands has been offering support and training to healthcare professionals in the application of structural and systematic quality assurance activities in hospitals. Below, CBO's framework to develop nursing quality management at institutional and national level, with the ultimate goal of ongoing quality improvement of nursing care.
