[Characteristics of the course of chronic bronchitis in patients in the sanatorium-health resort stage of treatment].

Use of the new laboratory diagnostic methods for examining 1352 chronic bronchitis patients made it possible to establish specific features and changes that resulted from a sanatorium-spa treatment of tissue inflammatory reactions, their intensity, the degree of manifestation in the bronchovascular and alveolar-vascular pulmonary barriers, the state of resistance to recurrences, the interconnection between bronchus obstruction and inflammatory and allergic processes, and adreno- and cholinopathy. A mutual connection was found to exist between the above characteristics of chronic bronchitis.
