Abstract

126 Pasteurella (P.) multocida strains isolated from nasal swabs of pigs were investigated for producing toxin, comparing tissue culture (EBL cells) and DAKO ELISA-PMT-Kit. With help of ELISA 13 toxigenic P. multocida strains were identified, with help of tissue culture 12 strains producing toxin. In 14 of 219 examined nasal swab bacteria cultures of pigs toxin of P. multocida was detected by the commercially available ELISA. Because of an abundant mixed bacteria culture in 7 of these 14 swabs suspected colonies of P. multocida could not be isolated.

对从猪鼻拭子中分离出的126株多杀性巴氏杆菌(P. multocida)菌株进行产毒素研究,比较了组织培养法(EBL细胞)和DAKO ELISA - PMT试剂盒。借助酶联免疫吸附测定法(ELISA)鉴定出13株产毒素的多杀性巴氏杆菌菌株,借助组织培养法鉴定出12株产毒素菌株。在219份猪鼻拭子细菌培养物中,有14份通过市售ELISA检测到多杀性巴氏杆菌毒素。由于这14份拭子中有7份存在大量混合细菌培养物,无法分离出疑似多杀性巴氏杆菌的菌落。
