[Employment of electronic data processing in an outpatient department for diseases of the thyroid (author's transl)].

A report is made on the model of a programmed outpatient department for diseases of the thyroid, which proved its value since 1973. Permanent patient data, diagnoses, therapy, course of therapy, suggested therapy, recommended examinations, follow-up dates and laboratory findings are recorded on punch cards. With the aid of a data processing center, medical reports are issued and settlements passed to account. The entire data put out are available for documentation purposes and statistical evaluations.
