The paper summarizes the aspects connected with the clinical interpretation of a normal or modified electric path, together with the indications of the electrophysiological exploration use and the contributions to the diagnosis and prognosis in ocular diseases. The methods are complementary ore to each other and must be interpreted together with the clinical, ophthalmological, adaptometrical and neuro-ophthalmological data.
