In the material of 124 patients with chronic inflammation of the mucous membrane of maxillary cavities, nasal ducts and ethmoidal cells, there was performed a comparative analysis of endoscopic and radiographic examination results. There was shown higher efficacy of endoscopy in revealing multiple changes, especially of polypous hypertrophy of the mucous membrane, in the assessment of nasal concha condition, and of patency of the orifices of maxillary sinuses. Endoscopic-radiographic divergences observed in about 9% of cases are considered by the authors to result from differentiation and equivocal appearance of some radiographic condensations.
在124例患有上颌窦、鼻道和筛窦黏膜慢性炎症的患者材料中，对内镜检查和放射检查结果进行了对比分析。结果显示，在内镜检查发现多种病变方面，尤其是在评估鼻黏膜息肉样肥大、鼻甲状况以及上颌窦开口通畅情况时，内镜检查具有更高的效能。作者认为，约9%的病例中观察到的内镜 - 放射检查差异是由一些放射影像致密影的鉴别困难和模糊表现所致。
