A 61-year-old man developed deep corneal vascularization, decreased visual acuity, and associated corneal opacity at the level of Descemet's membrane after prolonged wear of an aphakic soft contact lens. The vascularization markedly diminished and the vision improved after cessation of soft lens use; however, the associated opacity remains.
