Forty patients who had had syndromally-defined episodes of post-psychotic depression at least 6 months previously were interviewed in detail for life-time histories of substance abuse, panic attacks, and suicidal ideation. 2. No relationship was found between life-time history of suicidal ideation and substance abuse. 3. Statistically significant associations were found between lifetime history of suicidal ideation and both a life-time history of panic attacks and the panic disorder syndrome.

对40名至少在6个月前有过精神病后抑郁综合征发作的患者进行了详细访谈，以了解他们滥用药物、惊恐发作和自杀意念的终生病史。2. 未发现自杀意念的终生病史与药物滥用之间存在关联。3. 发现自杀意念的终生病史与惊恐发作的终生病史和惊恐障碍综合征之间存在统计学上的显著关联。
