An innovation model describes behavior patterns and the specific responses these groups display when introduced to change. These six categories, which are not inclusive, extend along a continuum ranging from eager participation to outright rejection of change. Using this knowledge, the nurse manager can team up with certain group types to smoothly implement innovation into the system.
