A partnership to save children's lives--the school nurse/Medic Alert kids program.

The Medic Alert Foundation, in a soon-to-be-launched national program, seeks to educate families about Medic Alert and how its emergency information service helps prevent emergencies from becoming tragedies. This report discusses the role the school nurse plays in determining which children are at risk, what needs to be done, and how Medic Alert can provide the needed protection.
