Abstract
Although the use of closed circuit television (CCTV) magnifiers is now well established, the instruments tend to be bulky, complex and expensive. A magnifier is described which consists of a miniature TV camera used as a hand-held scanner, which can be plugged into a wide variety of monitors and television sets.
