[Incus homografts (author's transl)].

The problem of reconstruction of the ossicular chain is still partly unsolved. A possible way of solving this problem is with a homograft in cases with total or partial ossicular chain defect. The method of preparing the homografts in our Clinic is described. The formation of an ossicular bank is quite easy, the procedure for preparing adequate implants simple and safe. This is a preliminary report concerning patients under review from 3--24 months, on whom the described method was used.
